Samsung Galaxy A7 Full Specification -Review

Image
An application for a new Samsung phone with a model number that may belong to an unreleased device called the Galaxy A7 has just appeared on the Federal Communications Commission website (via Phone Arena). The application itself doesn't tell us much about the device, but it does provide some evidence that Samsung is likely to launch a new phone in its A-series line. We saw similar applications appear just days before Samsung officially unveiled both the Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5 in October. What we can tell, however, is how large the phone will be. The FCC's listing says it will measure 150 mm x 75 mm, which hints the phone's screen will probably be larger than five inches diagonally. If Samsung does release a new phone in its Galaxy A line, it'll be the company's fourth phone to come with its new metal design. We first saw this new design element appear in August on the Galaxy Alpha, which has smooth metal edges similar to those of the iPhone 5 and 5s. Then, a...

Mozilla Firefox Latest 2015 Version Free

Image
Mozilla Firefox Latest 2015 Trending Version Free Download is available.Firefox as one of the most important products of the last ten years. But right now, it’s hard not to look at Firefox and worry a little bit about its future. At the height of its success, around 2010/11, Firefox owned more than a quarter of the browser market in the U.S. and almost a third in Europe. Today, those numbers are much lower in most regions (though Germans still love Firefox more than any other browser). The exact numbers always depend on who you ask, but the trend is the same everywhere — and it’s not looking good for Mozilla’s browser. Google’s Chrome launched at a time when Firefox development felt stagnant. I remember firing up Chrome for the first time back in 2008 and being astonished by how fast it was. I had been a long-time Firefox user at that time and Chrome — even in those early betas — blew it away. Much has changed since then and when it comes to speed, Firefox is now comparable agai...

Alibaba To Expand Its Presence In India

Image
China's largest e-tailer Alibaba has plans to invest more in India. Jack Ma, the founder and chairman of the Alibaba Group, said he was "inspired and moved" by Prime Minister Narendra Modi 's speech, which he had delivered in Beijing earlier this year. The Prime Minister had, then, pitched the country as a business-friendly destination. Ma, who is on his first-ever visit to India as part of a Chinese business delegation, asserted that the sub-continent is full of potential. On Wednesday, Ma, a former English teacher, told a group of businessman from India and China in New Delhi that "We will invest more in India, we will work with the Indian entrepreneurs going forward." Recently, India, which is Asia's third-largest economy, has seen more and more global entrepreneurs investing the country's online retail arena. As per a joint report by Google Inc., and Forrester Consulting, the number of Indians who shop online will reach 100 million by...

The Black Friday Survival Guide

Image
It wasn’t easy accumulating the research data displayed in the following guide. I saw horrific sights working retail for seven long years in both a big box electronic store and a major shopping center. I saw things that will haunt me the rest of my days. I watched two kids get trampled by what I call Double-Wides because Circuit City clearanced-out Dreamcasts for $80 on Black Friday.  I once hid behind a massive video display just for a few moments during the chaos. I’ve seen people fight, bite, and trample other members of our human race just to save a few dollars. What follows is perhaps the most comprehensive Black Friday guide ever assembled. There are shopping tactics, buying guides, survival tips, and a thorough rundown of the different types of Black Friday shoppers you will encounter. Please, if you’re considering shopping on Black Friday, think about your family, your dog, your livelihood and reconsider.  If you’re still convinced that it’s the right thing ...

Lumia 535: Microsoft's first non-Nokia Lumia phone launched at Rs 9,199 in India

Image
Microsoft has launched its first Lumia phone - the Lumia 535 - without the Nokia branding in India at a price of Rs 9,199. The phone will be available in the market from November 28. The new model is the first Lumia smartphone under Microsoft's own brand name. The company has released a few Lumia models since it bought Nokia's phone business this year, but those models still carried the Nokia brand. The Lumia 535 Windows smartphone has a 5-inch screen, as measured diagonally. It comes with 5-megapixel front and rear cameras, which should snap sharper selfies than typical smartphones. It has a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and 1GB RAM. Along with 8 GB internal storage and 15 GB of free OneDrive storage, the device supports expansion up to 128 GB through microSD cards. Microsoft is trying to expand its small market share worldwide with cheaper devices. The phone will be available in cyan, bright green, bright orange, white, dark grey, and black colours. Tech specs:...

Bumble App 2014-2015

Image
Bumble App 2014-2015( Bumble App for Android, iPhone(apple Devices) Are Available now For free download. Whitney Wolfe, an early employee at Tinder who sued the company for sexual harassment and workplace discrimination, has joined up with two other early Tinder employees, Chris Gulczynski and his parter Sarah Mick (cofounders of YayNext), to launch a direct competitor to Tinder called Bumble.g According to the app’s Facebook page, Bumble is a social discovery app that “promotes a safe and respectful community” where “you’ll never get unwanted messages” and your suggestions will be more relevant than the “dead-end matches” you find on “other, more shallow apps.” You can check out the full description here. Yesterday, Bumbleapp had a public Instagram account that showed a preview video of the app, which seems to look a lot like Tinder. It shows a user making a match and chatting. The account has since gone private, which might have to do with us looking into the company pre-launch....

Amazon Fire TV Stick vs Roku 3 vs Apple TV vs Google Nexus Player

Image
The Fire TV devices stand out in having voice search that works well. My lone complaint is that you're currently limited to content from Amazon, Vevo, Showtime, Crackle and Hulu. No surprise that Amazon content is emphasized; its two main rivals, Apple iTunes and Google Play are missing. Unfortunately, the Stick is out of stock until mid-January. The regular Fire TV is available immediately and is better for games. Amazon Fire TV Stick The Stick lacks a remote control capable of voice search - you type searches into the on-screen keyboard. Voice search costs $30, or you can download a free app for your Android device. A version for iPhones and iPads is coming too. The app isn't as easy to use as a real remote, but it does the job. This device is agnostic on content providers. There are more than 1,000 apps to download, many for services you have never heard of and will never watch. Except for iTunes it has all the leading channels. There are many Roku models. Ro...

Google Nexus 6 Features (New Review 2014)

Image
Google would be picking Motorola to provide the Nexus 6 hardware, and that it would indeed be a monster with a 6-inch display, I lamented the phabletization of the Nexus line before it was even a real thing. Now, I’ve had some time with the device, and while part of me still feels the same, another part has to acknowledge that Google may have gotten it right with a “go big or go home” strategy for this generation of hardware. For me, and for just about any other everyday user of the Nexus 6, there’s no question that something more akin to the Nexus 5, albeit with just better battery life, a better camera, improved specs and an updated display would’ve been the preferable option. Not least because such an unexciting iteration would probably have been able to keep the cost down, meaning you’d have another great pure Android option at a fraction of the cost of most locked, contract-only devices. Which is great, insofar as you consider the purpose of the Nexus program to build aff...

Facebook Standalone Groups App

Image
Hot trending 2015: 700 million people use Facebook Groups every month, but it’s a second-class experience on mobile, slow and buried in the social network’s main app. So today Facebook is releasing a standalone Groups app with powerful notification controls and a Groups discovery section.  You won’t be forced to use it as the Groups feature will remain in the Facebook app, and you won’t be fast-switched to it either. The Groups app for iOS and Android could be a massive help to admins trying to keep their communities from devolving into chaos, and speed up the consumption experience for everyone from families and friend cliques to study groups and support networks. It’s bright, quick, and could unlock more private sharing outside of the News Feed. “No one is really doing this out there. We think what we offer is unique”, says the Groups app’s project manager Shirley Sun. Despite Yahoo and Google fiercely competing to dominate group email lists, there’s a surprising lac...

YotaPhone 2 Dual-Screen Smartphone

Image
YotaPhone is a different kettle of fish, a device from a Russian company that boasts a fairly standard smartphone display on one side, but also comes complete with a power-saving e-ink screen on the back. Generation 1 of the device was promising, but ultimately flawed, but now the next iteration is poised for its official introduction. The YotaPhone 2 will be unveiled to the world on December 3, at a special invite-only to-do in London. The new YotaPhone has already been  in the hands of journalists via prototypes as early as February of this year, but now it’s finally arriving. The consensus is that this version is much improved over the previous generation, with a fully-touch sensitive e-ink display (the last one couldn’t receive touch) which can handle much more of the phone’s core functions, including calls, texts, emails and more. The YotaPhone 2 might actually make it possible for those without intense use needs to operate the device entirely via the low-energy e-i...

Microsoft Free Unrestricted Visual Studio For Small Teams

Image
Trending Hot 2015: Microsoft today launched the Community 2013 edition of Visual Studio, which essentially replaces the very limited Visual Studio Express version the company has been offering for a few years now. There is a huge difference between Visual Studio Express and the aptly named Visual Studio 2013 Community edition, though: The new version is extensible, so get access to the over 5,100 extensions now in the Visual Studio ecosystem.  It’s basically a full version of Visual Studio with no restrictions, except that you can’t use it in an enterprise setting and for teams with more than five people (you can, however, use it for any other kind of commercial and non-commercial project). “The simple way to think about this is that we are broadening up access to Visual Studio,” Microsoft’s corporate VP of its Developer Division S. “Soma” Somasegar told me in an interview late last month. Somasegar told me that the Community Edition will allow you to build any kind of a...

iOS 8.1.1 Brings Bug Fixes, Hope For iPhone 4S And iPad 2 Device Owners

Image
iOS 8.1.1 Review Trending Hot : Brings Bug Fixes, Hope For iPhone 4S And iPad 2 Device Owners.iOS 8.1.1 is now available, as the first update since Apple’s launch of Apple Pay on the platform. It includes a number of bug fixes, improved overall stability, and, most importantly, performance improvements for older devices including the iPhone 4s and iPad 2.  These devices, while technically supported with iOS 8.0, suffered a performance hit according to some as a result of the demands of the new OS, and this update should help make life easier for those who’ve already upgraded. Apple doesn't elaborate any further on just how these improvements work, but even just word of something potentially better should be welcome news to iPhone 4s and iPad 2 owners. We've also downloaded and tested the update on newer hardware, including the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, and thus far, there haven’t been any major problems like the cellular connectivity bug that affected 8.0.1.  It also...

Android 5.0 Lollipop Review (Featured Android 5.0 Video)

Image
Release of Android 5.0 Lollipop (2014) Latest Review on the new Nexus 6 phone and Nexus 9 tablet, that mission has reached an apotheosis. It's a sudden, jarring change from the Android we've known, now combined with a torrent of tweaks and features. It's easily the most important update to the world's most-used mobile OS in several years. It's a big deal. Google has been on a mission to redefine itself as a design-focused company for some years now. It's hard not to get metaphysical when talking about the design for Lollipop. That's because the philosophy behind the new look is based on something Google calls "Material Design”." You also can't talk about the design changes in Lollipop without comparing it to the equally bold design changes Apple made with iOS 7 last year. Both attempt to remake nearly every corner of the OS, both make heavy use of layers, and both have high-concept ideas about how those layers interact with each other. Jo...

Microsoft: all Lumia Windows Phone 8 devices will be upgraded to Windows 10

Image
Microsoft doesn't plan on making the same mistake twice: the company has made a public pledge that all of Nokia's Lumia Windows Phone 8 devices will be upgraded to the mobile version of Windows 10 when it's released. Responding to a customer's question on the topic, Microsoft tweeted, "We plan to upgrade all Windows Phone 8 devices to Windows 10 in the future." Microsoft's next big operating system remains in early development, so the company obviously isn't revealing details as to when that update will arrive. Still, the direct confirmation should allow Lumia owners to breathe a sigh of relief and know that history won't repeat itself. Microsoft enraged its small but loyal base of Windows Phone 7 users when it revealed existing devices wouldn't make the jump to Windows Phone 8 in 2012. That was mostly due to a significant change in the software's kernel, but the technical explanation did little to heal the wound. The underp...

Facebook Messenger userbase reaches 500 million per month

Image
Social networking giant Facebook, which has over 1.3 billion users globally, now has about 500 million people using the messenger service every month. The US-based firm had originally started the messenger service as a chat feature on the website but later rolled it out as a standalone mobile app. "Messaging is an important part of how people stay connected and since Messenger launch in 2011, we've been passionate about giving people a faster and more expressive way to communicate," Facebook Director of Product Management Peter Martinazzi said in a blog post. Today, more than 500 million people are using Messenger each month, he added. "Messenger was the first of our standalone apps, and unlike our core Facebook apps, it focused on one use case - messaging. It is just as fast as SMS but gives you the ability to express yourself in ways that SMS can't," he said. Using Facebook Messenger, users can send stickers or videos, take selfies and chat w...

Google Music Download Sales Miraculously Growing Despite Their Death Everywhere Else

Image
Trending Hot 2015: it’s no surprise Google Music‘s on-demand streaming service subscriber numbers are growing. But somehow, Google’s download sales growing too, Google’s VP of Global Music Partnerships Zehavah Levine said today at the SF MusicTech conference. She refused to reveal any concrete subscriber numbers when I asked, but said “Not only are our subscribers growing but our download numbers are growing despite the industry trend.” That trend saw digital track sales down 13% in the first half of 2014 compared to the first half of 2013. Google launched its clumsily named “Google Play Music All-Access” on-demand streaming services in May 2013 as a competitor to indepedent apps like Spotify and Rdio. It acquired curated playlist service Songza in July to humanize its comparably dry music app. Levine said today that it now hosts 30 million songs for streaming, while also running its music locker service for streaming your own collection to other devices and its Google Play Music St...

Flic and Cleen App For iPhone Free Download (Two New Apps, Flic And Cleen, Make Managing Your iPhone’s Photo Gallery As Easy As Using Tinder)

Image
Hot Trending 2015:  Flic And Cleen Free Download For iphone(Review), 2015 Make Managing Your iPhone’s Photo Gallery As Easy As Using Tinder,.A couple of new mobile applications for iPhone users offer a faster, and arguably more fun, way to free up storage space on your device by allowing you to quickly delete photos from your phone’s gallery. Both apps, Flic and the newly launched Cleen, are sort of like “Tinder for your Camera Roll.” As with the popular dating app, users swipe photos left or right (or up and down, in Cleen’s case) to delete photos, keep or favorite photos, as the case may be. The two apps are very similar. Both are simply designed, require little set up and are easy to use. With Flic, the experience is closer to that of Tinder. After launching the app and giving it access to your photos, you’re presented with one photo on the main screen. To trash the photo, you swipe left. To keep it, you swipe right. There’s also an “Undo” button if you make a mistake. ...

The Rise Of The Sensornet: 4.9BN Connected Things In 2015

Image
Gartner is predicting a 30 per cent jump in the number of connected objects in use in the wild from this year to next as sensing connected devices proliferate in an Internet of Things (IoT). In a forecast put out today, the analyst predicts there will be 4.9 billion connected things in use in 2015, up from 3.8 billion this year. The boom in connected sensing devices will gather pace, with the analyst predicting some 25 billion smart devices in circulation come 2020. In other words, hold onto your breath-sensing seats. For a little comparative context on the figures, annual smartphone shipments topped 1 billion for the first time at the start of this year, based on IDC’s numbers. Connected things can of course scale much faster than smartphones, being far less complex and having a fraction of the per unit cost. Gartner expects the automotive sector to see the highest growth rate of installed IoT units in 2015, pegged at 96 per cent, outstripping business and consumer sector g...

Selena Gomez - The Heart Wants What It Wants

Image
Selena Gomez gets personal in her newest music video. The music video starts with an emotional phone call, and throughout the music video we watch as Selena goes through what is a clearly emotionally straining and draining relationship. Of course rumors will fly, saying this song is about her tumultuous on again off again relationship with Justin Bieber. The song and video seem to be incredibly self-aware and it seems like Selena knows that this is a cycle she needs to break, but we guess there's a reason the song is called "The Heart Wants What It Wants."

Team Unicorn is All About That Base...No Rebels

Image
Meghan Trainor's "All About That Bass" is the latest booty-inspired song to get a top-notch parody. This one comes from Nerdist's "Team Unicorn," who are all about finding that hidden rebel base. (Note: it's unclear if they mean the base on Yavin in A New Hope or Hoth in The Empire Strikes Back but I think they're probably just all about rebel bases in general, since they're so pesky.) The song is from the point-of-view of Darth Vader, if he was four sexy ladies.

Lorde's 'Hunger Games' Song 'Yellow Flicker Beat'

Image
That's the music video for Lorde's contribution to the Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 soundtrack, "Yellow Flicker Beat." She also curated the album, and recruited The Lumineers, Ariana Grande, Major Lazer, Charli XCX, CHVRCHES and Miguel to contribute songs. Lorde just turned 18, and celebrated by enjoying a tall glass of orange juice with Taylor Swift or one of her clones. Swift has a little fun with the rumors that Lorde is actually significantly older than 18 (or a middle-aged male geologist). Swift writes on Instagram: "It's Ella's 18th birthday technically but we all know she's really 300 and knows all the secrets of the universe.  #ELLAflickerbeat" She does seem to know something the rest of us don't — I'll give her that.

Taylor Swift Shake it Off 1989 Aerobics

Image
Usually when someone tells me that they want to make plans to workout together like I'm not a sedentary person who writes about videos on the internet, I'm like.. But if following along with an aerobics tape from the 80s that just HAPPENS to match up perfectly with my and everybody else's jam at the moment, "Shake It Off" by Taylor Swift counts as cardio... I would not be opposed to it. Maybe taylor didn't have to pay all those cheerleaders, ballerinas, and other dancers for her music video. Maybe she should have just super-imposed herself over this workout video in full 80s workout gear. Now, excuse me while I do what I'm probably going to count as my entire exercise quota for all of 2015. Y'know, just staying ahead of the game.

Google Dart App

Image
Trending Hot : Google Dart App 2014-2015 has got Unveiled.Earlier this year at its I/O developer conference, Google quietly announced plans for supporting its Dart Programming language on App Engine. It’s taken a bit longer than many expected, but starting today, developers can run their Dart server-side application on Google App Engine’s Manage VMs. Dart is often seen as Google’s answer to JavaScript and, hence, mostly meant to run in the browser. But as Lars Bak and Kasper Lund, the inventors of Dart, told me back at I/O, the idea behind Dart was always to create a general purpose programming language. Using Docker, developers were already able to deploy Dart on Google Compute Engine. App Engine, however, gives developers easier access to a wider range of features out of the box, including Google’s Data Store and caching services, as well as monitoring and logging tools. All developers have to do — besides write their Dart apps — is upload their applications and App E...

Home Depot Hackers Exposed 53 Million Email Addresses

Image
Hot Trending 2015: The hackers that engineered a massive credit card breach at Home Depot last September appear to have also exposed 53 million customer email addresses, reports The Wall Street Journal's Shelly Banjo. Home Depot confirmed the hackers' success at stealing credit card data in a statement two months ago. "We want you to know that we have now confirmed that those systems have in fact been breached, which could potentially impact any customer that has used their payment card at our U.S. and Canadian stores, from April forward," said Home Depot at the time. The hackers reportedly accessed Home Depot's customer data through a vendor's billing account, which led them to some of the company's point of sale (POS) terminals. This data breach may be even bigger and affect more people than the massive attack against Target last year in which 40 million payment cards were stolen, reports journalist Brian Krebs of Krebs on Security, who brok...
